Using the recipe scaler

The scaler works in your browser. Ingredients you paste are not sent to us. They are kept in this browser tab's storage so they survive a page refresh, and are cleared when you close the tab.

Accounts and saved recipes

If you create an account, we store your email address, your saved recipes and any recipe photos you add. This data is held by our database provider, Supabase, and is private to your account. Only you can read or change your recipes.

Cookies and analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which tools they use. It sets cookies (named_ga) and sends Google page addresses without any query string, basic device information and simple events such as "a recipe was scaled". We never send recipe text, recipe titles or account details. Google signals and advertising features are turned off.

If you reject analytics, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Cookie settings

Signing in uses essential browser storage to keep you logged in. That storage is needed for the account to work and is not used for analytics.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
